Abbreviation: JCM Accessible DirectionsFrom the Quad, travel the series of ramps along the east side and south side of Alkek Library that rise to a mall area between Alkek Library and the Alkek Teaching Theater. Travel the ramp directly across from Alkek Library west to the LBJ Student Center and Visitors Center (LBJSC). Follow the ramp past the LBJSC water fountain in front of the Texas State Bookstore. This ramp leads to a series of ramps across the Comanche Street bridge. The Joann Cole Mitte building is located on the north side of the bridge. This building is made up of two separate buildings (The Roy F. and Joann Cole Mitte). The Joann Cole Mitte Art Complex is located behind the Roy F. Mitte Complex. Accessible ParkingAccessible parking is located on the north side of the building. This is a restricted gated lot (for students, contact the Office of Disability Services, for faculty or staff, please contact Parking Services). Accessible EntranceThere are two accessible entrances; one on the north side of the building adjacent to the parking lot; and one on the south side of the building via access from the Comanche Street bridge. Both have semi-automatic doors. |
