Accessible Directions

From the Quad, travel the series of ramps along the east side and south side of Alkek Library that rise to a mall area between Alkek Library and the Alkek Teaching Theater. Travel the ramp directly across from Alkek Library west to the LBJ Student Center and Visitors Center. Travel the ramp west past the Texas State Bookstore located adjacent to the LBJ Student Center. At the termination of the ramp, travel south along the brick planter, McCoy Hall is located on the south side of the mall.

Accessible Parking

Accessible parking is located in the Wood Street Parking Garage, located at the corner of Wood and Comanche Street. This garage requires a Texas State permit.

Accessible Entrance

There are four accessible entrances with semi-automatic doors in the building. The main entrance of the building (2nd floor) faces north and has a semi-automatic door. There is also a secondary entrance on the 2nd floor that also faces north and provides access to the outside patio. The third accessible entrance is located on the west side of the building on the second floor and has a semi- automatic door. The 1st floor of the building faces south and has a semi-automatic door. This entrance is directly across from the Wood Street Parking Garage.
